MAH CET 2022 exam Result has been released on September 11, 2022 at 5 PM. You can download your MAH CET 2022 score card from the official website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. MAH MBA CET exam was conducted on August 23, 24 and 25, 2022 in multiple slots. The next step to be taken being taken by CET Cell Maharashtra is conducting the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for final admission in the MBA Colleges accepting MAH CET. The exam was of moderate difficulty level. 

MAH CET is an important State level entrance exam for MBA admission 2022 in 330+ MBA colleges in Maharashtra including JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, Welingkar among others. The exam is conducted by State CET Cell on behalf of Maharashtra Government for MBA admission to various high RoI, MBA/MMS 2022-24 courses offered at low fee by MBA colleges in Maharashtra  to – both to Maharashtra State (MS) and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates. MAH CET 2022 exam centres were located in 47 cities in India. Last year, more than 132000 candidates had applied for the exam and out of them 36142 test takers were offered admission to the MBA colleges in Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process.

MAH CET Syllabus with key changes in the topics for MAH CET 2022 question paper is  released by DTE Maharashtra State CET Cell. The syllabus is broadly split into three sections. However, with two parts of reasoning based questions, there are four sections in the MAH CET 2022 question paper. The MAH CET syllabus topics are at par with the syllabus prescribed for other national and state level MBA entrance exams.

Top MBA Colleges including JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, among others will offer admission on the basis of MAH CET 2022 exam scores through DTE CAP 2022. The exam score is accepted for admission in more than 300 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. 


Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), University of Mumbai will offer Admission to its two years full time MMS 2022-24 batch through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra after MAH CET Result declaration. The registration and application process for DTE CAP 2022 will open in September/October 2022 and will be online process.

JBIMS Mumbai admission policy and admission process for MMS 2022-24 batch is not changed so far and therefore the B-school will accept CAT 2021, MAHCET 2022 and CMAT 2022 scores for All India candidates.

Although JBIMS does not announce individual cut offs, but the JBIMS MAH-CET cut offs as announced by DTE Maharashtra after different CAP rounds reveal a percentile cut off at 98-99. 


There are around 40,000 seats available for MBA/MMS admission 2022 in MBA colleges of Maharashtra for the Maharashtra State category and All India category candidates.

MAH CET Registration process is online. The application is accepted for MBA admission to 1st Year of 2 year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Management (MBA/MMS) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

MAH CET 2022 Registration & Application Fee is Rs.800/- for Maharashtra State (MS) candidates and Rs.1000/- for All India Category (OMS) candidates.

To facilitate MBA/MMS admissions through MAH MBA CET 2022 and other CET exams, the Government of Maharashtra has established “ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL” as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015). The Commissioner of State CET Cell is Competent Authority for conducting CETs. The candidates from Maharashtra as well as from all other states can appear in MAH CET. 

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra conducts MAH CET exam every year along with other CETs for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, MCA and other courses on different dates. The information bulletin and notification for MAH CET is released by State CET Cell.
