IRMASAT 2022 is the entrance test for admission
n to 2 years flagship PGDM (RM) programme (Equivalent to MBA) offered by IRMA Anand. The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat, conducts IRMASAT exam alongwith its GD-PI process after the shortlisting of candidates is over. For its PGDM (RM) admission 2022, IRMA has replaced the IRMASAT 2022 by WAT 2022 of half an hour duration. The WAT will be conducted from February 15 to 28, 2022.
What is IRMASAT Exam
- IRMASAT full form is IRMA Social Awareness Test
- IRMASAT is the Institute level mandatory Social Awareness Test for admission to IRMA. So, all applicants for IRMA Admissions have to additionally appear for Issues of Social Concern test – Social Awareness Test ‘IRMASAT’

IRMASAT 2022 Exam: Important Changes
- IRMASAT 2022 has been replaced by Written Ability Test. Earlier, before conducting IRMASAT Entrance exam, IRMA shortlisted the candidates on the basis of CAT and XAT scores for IRMASAT. For admission 2022 also, IRMA will shortlist the students based on CAT 2021/XAT 2022 exam score for its PGDM (RM) programme.
- IRMA has replaced IRMASAT 2022 with the 30 Minutes Writing Ability Test (WAT).
- Now, the shortlisted candidates for IRMA Admission 2022 shall have to appear in WAT instead of earlier IRMASAT 2022 exam
- If a candidate has appeared both in CAT 2021 and XAT 2022 exams, IRMA will consider higher score in shortlisting the candidates for WAT & PI

IRMASAT 2022 Replaced by Written Ability Test (WAT)
After completing the shortlisting process, IRMA will call the candidates for the next round of selection process, comprising a Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). Details are shared below:
- WAT Process in IRMA instead of IRMASAT
- IRMA will conduct Written Ability Test (WAT) after completion of Shortlisting of candidates for final selection round and will not conduct IRMASAT 2022 exam
- IRMA WAT 2022 is a paper-pen based written test of 30 minutes duration
- WAT at IRMA will be conducted on the day of candidate’s Personal Interview (PI) immediately after the briefing of the Admissions Chair
- In the WAT, candidate will need to write about 200/300 words on a given topic and upload the scanned copy using her/ his login credentials on IRMA website
- WAT 2022 for admission to IRMA PGDM (RM) 2022-24 batch, is designed to evaluate a candidate’s rural aptitude as well as written communication skills.
- PI Process in Final Selection: To be conducted after WAT
- After the WAT, IRMA will conduct Personal Interview (PI) on the same day
- Candidates who are shortlisted for interviews with IRMA faculty, will be assessed on their managerial abilities, communication skills, and suitability for the Institute’s program
- Since the PGDM (RM) caters to organisations contributing to broad-based rural development in India, the candidate’s attitude towards rural management is of particular importance.
- Personal Interview will be conducted in OFFLINE and ONLINE mode. Candidate will be given an option for selection mode of Personal Interview.
- IRMA Offline PI Centre
Offline Personal Interview will be conducted at five centers, If a candidate has selected offline mode for giving Personal Interview, she / he will be asked for the two preferences of centers while filling the online application form. The PI Centres are Anand, Bangalore, Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata

IRMASAT Application Fee 2022: Category wise Fee, Payment Mode
IRMASAT 2022 Application Fee includes the IRMA admission application fee and IRMASAT exam fee. For IRMA admission 2022, the institute will conduct WAT instead of IRMASAT. The category wise IRMASAT application fee to apply for admission at IRMA is as under.

An applicant can opt for one of the following options:
- Apply online and pay through payment gateway.
- Take a print out of SBI challan available on IRMA website in the admission link. Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website.
- Printed application material (prospectus, application forms, etc.) may be obtained from Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand – 388 001 on payment of full fees. (All the payments to IRMA should be made in the form of a demand draft favouring IRMA and it should be payable at Anand).

IRMASAT 2022 exam pattern is completely changed and for admission 2022 IRMA will conduct Written Ability Test (WAT) instead of IRMASAT with time duration of 30 minutes after shortlisting the candidates for final selection round. The WAT in place of IRMASAT will be held from February 15 to 28, 2022 in three modes as a part of final selection process.

- Now, the shortlisted candidates for IRMA Admission 2022 shall have to appear in WAT instead of earlier IRMASAT 2022 exam
- If a candidate has appeared both in CAT 2021 and XAT 2022 exams, IRMA will consider higher score in shortlisting the candidates for WAT & PI
